Expanding into new markets
Based in the beautiful Scottish countryside, artisan producer Galloway Lodge Preserves has produced delicious jams, marmalade and chutneys since 1971. While products sold extremely well individually, the family business knew there was a market for gift packs and limited edition lines.
In addition to festive labels with shimmering gold detailing, Luminous designed colourful gift box packaging for various selections and in varying sizes. Sourcing the right manufacturer, we achieved a rich pop of colour on the boxes, to contrast with their darkest of black interiors - all helping to showcase the products inside. As a result Galloway Lodge has a broader product range for stockists and individual customers to choose from.
Working with Luminous Creative allowed us to enter new markets, offering gift products such as our Christmas range and Gift Boxes to customers that we had previously not been in the position to do business with.

Preserving family values
Galloway Lodge’s existing labels are refreshingly unfussy. Needing little more than clean typography and a brilliant strip of colour to distinguish the product ranges, Galloway likes its brand like its jams – with no unnecessary embellishment or additives.
Luminous injected energy into the new gift packs while continuing to build on the brand’s visual heritage. The gift packs provide a new revenue stream for both the company and their stockists.
