Humanist Society Scotland
A stronger society
The Humanist Society Scotland (HSS) is part of a wider international movement pursuing a secular world and campaigning for human rights. In common with many growing charities, their visual identity had developed ad-hoc and looked inconsistent.
Working together to consolidate their brand, we strengthened the existing logo by redrawing it entirely and established a new visual language to carry their high level messaging. Next Luminous overhauled their website so it was more engaging and easier to use, and prepared a wide array of campaign collateral. As a result, HSS presents a more compelling and polished image to its members and the wider public.
We've seen a 10-fold increase in web-traffic, with a much higher conversion rate since working with Luminous Creative to completely redesign our website. They provide an excellent service, and have gone above and beyond in helping us.

A positive difference
Most people’s first experience of Humanism is when they attend a Humanist wedding or funeral. As a membership organisation it is vital HSS feels accessible to the public and engages existing members so we created a visual language of positive change. Authentic images of joy, hope and participation were curated, together with uplifting colours and an eye-catching typeface that works equally well for campaign headlines or messages of celebration.
